Job Summary
We are currently hiring enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals for the role of Customer Sales Agent at a well-established client in Claremont. This is an excellent opportunity for recent matriculants or individuals with basic customer service experience who are eager to launch a rewarding career in sales and client engagement.
In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers—providing product information, resolving queries, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction and retention. The role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via chat, phone, or in-person
- Accurately assess customer needs to recommend appropriate solutions
- Provide customers with accurate, complete, and clear information about products and services
- Handle customer complaints courteously, identify solutions, and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and outcomes
- Follow company procedures, communication scripts, and service guidelines
- Support customers with questions related to pricing, promotions, and benefits
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and meet team goals
- Attend team meetings, training workshops, and skill-building sessions regularly
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- Must reside in or near the Claremont / Constantia area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed
- Prior experience in customer service or a sales role is advantageous but not essential
