MiWay is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for its HR Internship Programme for 2025 to 2027. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about Human Resources to gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities:

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

  1. Job Postings & Recruitment:
    • Assist in posting job openings on job boards and social media platforms.
    • Screen resumes and applications.
    • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Participate in initial interview rounds, if necessary.
  2. Onboarding & Offboarding INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
    • Support the onboarding process by preparing employee welcome kits and gathering necessary paperwork.
    • Ensure all new employee documentation is collected and filed correctly.
    • Assist in preparing for exit interviews and maintaining related documentation.
  3. Employee Records Management:
    • Help maintain updated employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) or databases.
    • Organize and digitize physical employee files.
    • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  4. Employee Benefits Administration:
    • Assist in administering employee benefits and respond to basic queries regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  5. Event Coordination:
    • Help organize company events and team-building activities.
  6. Compliance & Reporting:
    • Assist in ensuring company compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
    • Support audits by organizing required documentation.
    • Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed.
  7. General Office Support:
    • Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and scanning.
    • Assist with any other HR-related tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or team.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in:
    • Human Resource Management
    • Industrial Psychology
    • Or related fields

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Proficiency in business software like Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • A high level of confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
