Job Opportunity: Call Centre Agent

Salary: R202 233 – R235 611 per annum (excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
• Skills: Computer literacy is essential.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience in a relevant role.

Knowledge and Skills

• Systems and Applications: Familiarity with SOCPEN (Social Pensions system).
• Legislation and Procedures: Understanding of the Social Assistance Act, SASSA Act, and related policies, standards, and organizational arrangements.
• Organizational Awareness: Knowledge of social assistance delegations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

1. Call Handling: Receiving and placing calls to assist clients.
2. Call Registration and Escalation: Capturing and escalating incoming calls on the Customer Care Application system.
3. Feedback and Investigations: Investigating client issues and providing feedback as necessary.
4. System Updates: Updating client information on the Integrated Customer Care Application.
5. Request Monitoring: Monitoring and following up on requests sent to the back office and responsible managers.
6. Email Management: Attending to email inquiries promptly and professionally.
7. Customer Education: Providing education and guidance to clients regarding services.
8. Call Direction: Directing calls to relevant officials to ensure client needs are addressed effectively.
