Job Overview:
ARC-VIMP is looking for skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join as Casual Workers. These roles focus on supporting field and facility operations to ensure the upkeep and preparation of research trials and grounds. Ideal candidates will be proactive, organized, and physically capable of handling the demands of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Support:
- Remove irrigation pipes from fields to prepare for land activities.
- Assist with research trial preparations, including weeding, planting, harvesting, and plant processing.
- Install and remove fencing and irrigation equipment as needed.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Clean around and within greenhouses, tunnels, and research field areas.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, and basic building repairs.
- Apply chemicals around building and fence perimeters as part of pest and weed control.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Grade 10.
